The British group Bentley Motors Limited is committed to invest in cutting-edge technology for the manufacture of its luxury cars, combined with the 'savoir faire' that has characterized the brand since 1919.

Bentley reveals the important investment program that has been made to produce the new Bentley Continental GT with state-of-the-art technology.

For many years Bentley has remained one of the most prestigious luxury car brands thanks to the high performance, the exclusive details, the handmade production of their cars and the services offered.

Historically, the body-cars sealing has involved a lot of manpower and with the arrival of the Bentley Continental GT, Bentley has taken the opportunity to invest in highly efficient robots that automatically apply the seal to the car’s body.

Procon Systems has been responsible for the design, manufacture, programming and commissioning of the robots placed in the Bentley factory in Crewe, United Kingdom. The new sealing system of the Continental GT consists in two robots for indoor applications and two for under body applications (UBS), but the human touch is still essential, with specialists programming the robotic system.

Bentley's technological investment in the production process of the Continental GT has been very wide and includes from the automation of the sealing process to a polishing cell.
