ITER has awarded Procon Systems a new framework contract for the design, manufacture, testing and supply of instrumentation & control and signal conditioning cabinets.

Over the next 4 years, extendable up to 5, ITER will issue Procon Systems various requests for manufacturing and engineering services related to the cabinets. It is estimated that the contract will cover approximately a total of 31 cabinets:

• 15 cabinets for the Tokamak Cooling Water System and

• 16 cabinets for the Secondary Cooling and Support System.

The public bidding process was opened in May 2020 and closed during August with the award to Procon Systems. Public information regarding this bidding process can be checked on ITER's website: https://www.iter.org/org/team/adm/proc/overview#CFT/629

With this contract, Procon Systems extends its collaboration with ITER, which began 10 years ago with the prototyping of an Interlock Control System.
Currently and since December 2019, Procon Systems is working on the project for the design, manufacture and validation of the CSS-OS, the Central Security System for Occupation Safety. After the approval of the system design in April this year by ITER, Procon Systems is currently preparing the manufacture the system.
