Occupational health and safety policy

PROCON SYSTEMS, S.A. prioritises the health and safety of its workers above any other consideration, committing itself to improving the working conditions of its workers and implementing all the necessary measures to ensure that this initial declaration is made concrete on a day-to-day basis in all the centres and workplaces in which it carries out its activity.

To this end, it declares the following key commitments:
  • The need to create positive conditions for the prevention and control of occupational risk factors is assumed. In this sense, it fully incorporates the contents of Articles 1 and 2 of R.D. 39/1997, of 17 January (Regulation of Preventive Services), into its management policies. In order to comply with them, the Company's Annual
  • Planning for Health and Safety sets out the objectives, material and human resources, actions, procedures, etc. that are necessary to achieve the objective of providing health and safety working conditions to its workers.
  • The appropriate framework for consultation and involvement of workers will be established, an agreed framework, which will be included in the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
  • It is considered that prevention and occupational health and safety at work will cease to be considered as an isolated and independent concept, of a corrective nature, to be fully integrated and as a priority in management processes, so that, based on respect for legal standards and the commitments signed, they achieve the highest possible level of safety and health of workers through mechanisms of "continuous improvement".
  • It is essential to improve attitudes and culture in the area of prevention and, consequently, to promote a positive attitude of all those responsible for the organization and all workers towards this issue, with the idea of eliminating hazards and reducing risks to health and safety at work.
  • Occupational risk prevention will be integrated at all levels of the organisational structure.

In order to achieve compliance with these guidelines, PROCON SYSTEMS, S.A. is committed to ensure that the preventive management process will be dynamic and open, constantly changing, both in the cases provided for by the legally established requirements, as well as by productive, organisational or technological changes.

Therefore, the general principles of prevention are implemented at all times, getting measures that give priority to collective protection before individual protection. However, the personal protective equipments delivered to workers are continuously checked to ensure that they are used correctly, and so that after using them, the correct conditions of maintenance and storage are kept.

The first objective of this new preventive policy is the strict compliance by PROCON SYSTEMS, S.A., its workers, its collaborators and subcontracted companies in all workplaces, with the commitments signed and with the legislation in force, with the Health and Safety at work Act and its implemented regulations, but also with all the Legislation of a preventive nature that affects the activity of the Company (Art. 1 and Art. 6 of the Health and Safety at work Act).

It shall be ensured that everyone assumes the commitment and due responsibility so that they feel that health and safety at work is an integral and fundamental part of the company's activity.
