Operational Services awards Procon Systems with TISAX certification.
Last February, Procon Systems achieved the TISAX label, a key strategic objective for the current year 2021, after having successfully passed the certification process carried out by the German entity Operational Services.
TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) was introduced in 2017 by VDA, Verband der deutschen Automobilindustrie, and ENX, the Association of European Vehicle Manufacturers, Suppliers and Organisations, as a mechanism for assessing compliance with correct information security measures. The automotive industry treats information with a high degree of confidentiality.
The controls of the standard broadly follow those provided by ISO/IEC 27001, providing a continuous improvement approach that is required for periodic renewal. It is for these reasons that TISAX certification has already positioned itself as a basic element of distinction, required by the most powerful manufacturers in the sector in order to guarantee optimal and truthful information security standards.
The certification authority Operational Services (OS) is one of the leading ICT service providers in the German market and is regarded as the backbone of the sustainable digitalisation of companies. With more than 800 highly qualified employees, despite the current situation in the midst of the pandemic caused by Covid-19, they have made it possible to keep on correct development of planning and on schedule.
The adaptation process has overhauled the information systems used at Procon Systems, ensuring long-term system support and the availability of critical operational processes.
Information security is a fundamental pillar for Procon Systems, which, aware of the growing challenges in cybersecurity and the demands of the market, has made a commitment to continue improving in this area.
This label allows Procon Systems to continue improving in a sector, the automotive industry, distinguished by its high level of demand and competitiveness.
